The client was developing a co-working space of three floors and UBSC's responsibility was to provide total MEP solutions. The project was on a fast track and they gave strict timelines to us to complete the designs. Not just that, being an international client, they had stringent norms, but we also had to follow the requirements of the landlord as the structure is a certified green building.
Our Approach:
- Preparing the design brief
- Updating of the brief as per feedback by client
- Preparing the Progress Set-1 drawings
- Updating the Progress Set-1 drawings as per client’s feedback
- Preparing the BOQ as per client’s SAP format
- Issuing Progress Set-2 to the contractor for execution at the site
- Approving sample boards of materials at the site
- Weekly site inspection to ensure quality of the work
- Witnessing the testing and commissioning at the site
- Approving the handover documents prepared by the contractor
The Results:
We completed the project within the stipulated timeframe and received appreciation from the client for a job well done.
